Russian Soyuz rocket successfully sent 36 OneWeb satellites into orbit on March 24, as the London-based company continues its recovery from a tough 2020.
The Russian upper stage Fregat, launched by a Soyuz-2.1b rocket from the Vostochny cosmodrome, launched 36 British OneWeb communications satellites into orbit, the company said.
“The last batch of 36 satellites launched during today’s launch has passed. We are now waiting to receive a signal from the satellites,” OneWeb said on Twitter.
