London Police Use Brute Force During Anti-Lockdown Protests [Video]

Parliament Square saw the focus of aggressive confrontations on the day Covid restrictions were lifted in England with police making 11 arrests. People in London were met with harsh police responses with chaotic footage emerging of beatings and arrests.

A video from central London showed two officers restraining a woman on the ground before one slams her down to detain her. Another female was dragged around the square.

The action predominantly took place in Parliament Square, with protesters chanting “arrest Boris Johnson” and “shame on police.”

In total 11 arrests were made, according to reports.

Within hours of his much-trumpeted “Freedom Day” beginning, Prime Minister Boris Johnson already warned that full vaccination would be required to enter mass venues from the end of September.
