Democratic House members are using the Jan. 6 Capitol Hill riot and the coronavirus pandemic in a scary effort to censor conservatives. “Democracy is proving to be more of a threat to free speech than the principles are to democracy,” says Gab user.

“Democrats used to be the party of free speech. I know this, because I was once a Democrat who believed that the solution to bad speech is more speech. This no longer appears to be the case, as recent actions taken by members of the party have done more harm to the principles of free speech than any intended benefit.
Why are California Democrats Anna Eshoo and Jerry McNerney sending letters to cable and satellite providers as well as other platforms to urge them to not renew contracts with conservative news outlets? Is everything stated on conservative news media a lie? Is everything state on liberal news media the truth?
Just as Republicans are the champion of free speech, Democrats hardly have an alternative solution to misinformation being spread by conservative outlets. Instead, they engage in the spread of misinformation, but differently in an effort to progress their own agendas.
