Massive Fire Burned Down Historic Saint Petersburg Factory In Russia

The “Nevskaya Manufactory” building caught fire in St. Petersburg at about noon on Monday, April 12. The fire spread to 10 thousand square meters. It was possible to localize the fire ten hours later.

At least one firefighter died, three were injured. In the evening, Mi-8 helicopters of the Russian army were involved in the operation. The factory was still on fire by Tuesday noon – the extinguishing of debris on 500 squares continues.
