The former president officially announced the legal action on Wednesday against Google, Facebook, and Twitter and their CEOs.
“Today, in conjunction with the America First Policy Institute, I’m filing a major class action lawsuit against the big tech giants including Facebook, Google and Twitter, as well as their CEOs Mark Zuckerberg, Sundar Pichai, Jack Dorsey.”
“In America, we recognize that the freedom to speak our minds & express the truth…is not granted to us by government it is given to us by God and no one should have the power to take that right away,” Trump told the crowd in Bedminster, New Jersey.
The class action lawsuits would enable Trump to sue the CEOs for a broader group of people that he argues have been censored by biased policies.
“We’re demanding an end to the shadow-banning, a stop to the silencing and a stop to the blacklisting, banishing and canceling that you know so well.”
