While South Africa is recovering from the horrible period of riots and looting, the country’s government is using a strange excuse and sends out messages to residents calling for vaccinations to rebuild the country after the violence.
“As our country stabilises from a terrible period of violence & looting, let’s work together to rebuild SA & protect our loved ones, vaccinate,” says the message from South African government.
To accelerate its mass vaccination campaign, South Africa will start giving shots on weekends and will make them available to younger residents ages 18 and above starting September 1.
In the coming weeks, we will substantially increase the rate of vaccination,” Ramaphosa said.
