Russian foreign ministry accuses officials and leading foreign media of double standards, who ignore police violence against peaceful protesters in their own countries while accusing Russia for its “sins”.
During the meeting at the Russian Foreign Ministry with the Swedish Minister of Foreign Affairs, the current chairman of the OSCE Ann Linde has been transmitted video materials that reported numerous cases of police violence against peaceful protesters in OSCE member countries.
“These facts are persistently ignored by both officials and leading media. At the same time, we are accused of our own “sins”. For those who think like that, we have prepared a clear demonstration, “in contrast”. How it is there, and how it is here. Feel the difference,” the Russian Foreign Ministry commented on that in their blog post.
