Facebook will no longer allow the “voice of President Trump” to be heard on its platform after it banned President Donald Trump’s interview with his own daughter-in-law, Lara Trump, earlier this morning.
The big tech platform declared that any video or audio file “in the voice of President Trump is not currently allowed on our platforms (including new posts with President Trump speaking)” and declared that any such videos “will be removed if posted, resulting in additional limitations on accounts that posted it.”
While big tech websites have almost uniformly banned the 45th President, he is bringing new waves of popularity to any alternative tech website that does not ban users or content simply for his presence. The video of President Trump speaking with Lara Trump currently has over 135,000 views on Rumble, a YouTube competitor.
The interview, clocking in at only 18 minutes, features President Trump lambasting Joe Biden’s roundly panned press conference, inability to climb stairs, and generally poor performance in the Oval Office.
“This is more liberal, more radical than Bernie Sanders ever had in mind,” he added, “He never talked about what he’s doing to destroy energy and the second Amendment.”
“Those are not things that were discussed at all during the election,” said President Trump.
President Trump also noted that his ban from social media has not resulted in losing his ability to communicate with the public.”
“This new phase: You have something, and they won’t put it on. Whether it’s scandals, or whether it’s anything, whether it’s just good news, they won’t put it on. It’s a very interesting time. We’re getting it out, I’m getting out by using press releases, and everybody is picking it up.”
