Cameras were rolling in France Sunday when supporters of left-wing candidate Renaud Muselier arrived on stage to celebrate his victory – only to realize they forgot to put their masks on.
Footage shows Muselier supporters were all smiles, that is until they saw the cameras and remembered they needed to keep up with the restrictions.
Muselier defeated right-wing candidate Marine Le Pen’s party in the second round of regional elections, “thwarting its hopes of winning control of a region for the first time and slowing its momentum ahead of the presidential contest next year”.
