Residents of Riga Are Terrified As Soldiers Opened Fire in The Streets [Video]

The Latvian Defence Ministry has offered its apologies to the residents of Riga for the scare caused by the Namejs 2021 military exercise in the city centre.

The drill sparked a backlash among residents after video footage of the military firing blanks among civilians went viral on social media.

Witnesses saw a soldier fire over the head of a mother holding a young child, frightening her. Another video showed a military officer shooting a machine gun over the rooftops of passing automobiles on Riga’s main thoroughfare.

“During such drills, we only use blank cartridges, which make noise but do not pose any danger to the health and life of others. In this case, blank cartridges were also used, and this situation was a bitter misunderstanding, for which we apologise. The Defence Ministry calls on the public to show understanding for the exercises”, the ministry said in a statement, as quoted by the news portal TVNET.

Unvaccinated Australians Told They’ll Remain Under Lockdown [Video]

Unvaccinated Australians will remain under lockdown indefinitely, but those who have been vaccinated will see some of their liberties restored, as Premier Gladys Berejiklian informed unvaccinated Australians, “You have been warned!”

The announcement was made during the same press conference in which Dr. Kerry Chant revealed that COVID contact tracing was part of the “New World Order”.

Once 70 per cent of Australian adults have been vaccinated, people will be allowed to host up to 5 people in their home if all are fully vaccinated (wow). Up to 20 people will be able to gather outdoors and some domestic travel will be allowed.

However, unvaccinated people will remain under lockdown and will become second class citizens in perpetuity, as Berejiklian proceeded.

“Living with COVID means you have a cautious and staged reopening once you get to those high rates of vaccination in your adult population,” said Berejiklian.

“We have obviously consulted the national plan, we’ve also had input from our health experts and stakeholders to make sure that when we start reopening at 70 per cent double dose that it’s done in a safe way and it’s only for people who are vaccinated,” she added.

“So you have been warned! If you’re not vaccinated, come forward and get the vaccine otherwise you won’t be able to participate in the many freedoms that people have at 70 per cent vaccination,” said Berejiklian.

Senator Rand Paul appeared on Hannity on Wednesday, where he replied to new evidence that Anthony Fauci lied to Congress about financing for coronavirus gain of function research, pointing audiences that this offence is a felony punishable by five years’ imprisonment.

“I find that hard to believe that we still would have someone with such poor judgment, who believes that even a pandemic would be worth it, that this person is in charge of the research for our government, I find that astounding,” Paul declared.

“The judgment that we should continue to fund this lab and—that the virus in all likelihood came from the lab. I think it’s such incredibly poor judgment that he should be immediately removed,” Paul added.

The Senator added, “We’ve referred it to the Department of Justice. I don’t think Biden’s Department of Justice will do anything with it but yes, it is very dangerous to have public officials who we need to have trust in coming and lying to us, but [Fauci] has lied dozens of times.”

Paul continued, “Usually, he tells us that it’s for our own good but yes, he has dissembled, he has obfuscated—there are other nicer words—but he has definitely lied to the American public and he should be held responsible but not just that.”

Australian Health Chief: “New World Order” Will Include Covid Contact Tracing [Video]

“We will be looking at what contact tracing looks like in the New World Order,” Australian public health chief Dr. Kerry Chant said during a press briefing.

The comments were made during the same briefing in which Premier Gladys Berejiklian said that unvaccinated people would remain under lockdown indefinitely.

Chant was asked if “exposure sites” such as pubs would still be subject to contact tracing and shut down if someone who visits them tests positive for COVID-19 if and when Australia lifts its brutal lockdown.

“We will be looking at what contact tracing looks like in the New World Order…yes it will be pubs and clubs and other things if we have a positive case there,” said Chant, who is the Chief Health Officer for New South Wales.

US National Park Removes “Glaciers Will Be Gone by 2020” Signs [Photo]

For more than a decade, signs at Glacier National Park warned visitors that the glaciers would be gone by the year 2020 – now those signs are being changed. They were originally added to the park to reflect climate change predictions by the U.S. Geological Survey.

Glacier National Park spokeswoman Gina Kerzman explained that the latest research shows the shrinking of some glaciers but in ways much more complex than what was predicted. Because of this, the park must update all signs around the park which state that all glaciers will be melted by 2020.

The glacier warning isn’t being removed entirely, she told CNN. Instead, the new signs will say: “When they will completely disappear depends on how and when we act. One thing is consistent: the glaciers in the park are shrinking.”

“French Spiderman” Protests Covid Vaccine Mandate [Video]

Alain Robert has scaled the Défense region tower of the French capital without safety gear – in a demonstration against France’s coronavirus restrictions.

“It’s a climb against the health pass, which annoys everyone. It is an attack on fundamental freedoms, this pass is a disgrace,” Robert said.

The 60-year-old was arrested over an hour into the climb for “endangering the lives of others,” something he’s used to being nicked for as it’s his 11th attempt at scaling the building.

Usually a solitary climber, Robert was accompanied for the first time by three young climbers aged 21, 28 and 33, for whom it was an “honour” to join a legend in the discipline.

Russia’s Space Chief Invited Elon Musk for Cup of Tea [Tweet]

Elon Musk is also known for engaging in Twitter conversations with Russian space chief Dmitry Rogozin. This time Russian space chief invited Musk for a cup of tea on Twitter, after which they discussed their favourite teas.

The Director-General of Roscosmos, Dmitry Rogozin, invited the Space X CEO Elon Musk to his home for a cup of tea and revealed that his favourite one is a Soviet-era Indian-style tea, which also, according to Rogozin, appeared to be his grandmother’s favourite tea. 

Rogozin is well-known for his Twitter feud with Musk, which frequently takes the form of sarcastic joking.

The “tea” conversation began after Rogozin shared an article on CNN via Twitter, where he said that he is opening the doors of his home to Musk.

In the interview, published earlier this week, Rogozin said the teakettle is already being heated up, prompting Musk to wonder what Rogozin’s favourite tea is.

Taliban Overpainted George Floyd Memorial Wall in Kabul [Photo]

After gaining control of Afghanistan, the Taliban has overpainted the murals in Kabul and replaced them with declarations of victory, including the memorial wall of one that featured Black Lives Matter icon, George Floyd.

“The Taliban have started painting over murals left behind from the American occupation,” highlighted one Twitter user. “Here they paint over one mural depicting St George Floyd and replace it with proclamations of victory.”

The murals were created during the occupation by a group called Artlords, members of which had covered Kabul with the images, some of which carried social justice messages and amplified women’s rights issues, in the eight years before the Taliban took control.

The original aim of the group, according to its website, was “to pave the way for social transformation and behavioural change”. Artlords has an American outpost which is based in Virginia, United States.

“George Floyd’s face and the LGBT flag are the symbols of American Imperialism in the 21st century,” pointed out Keith Woods.

Meanwhile, in the west, giant statues of the career criminal who pointed a gun at a pregnant woman during an armed robbery are being erected, while brands are also launching George Floyd-themed lingerie as a symbol of female empowerment.

Canadian PM Was Hit by Small Stones During a Campaign Stop [Video]

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was hit by small stones by protesters during a campaign stop in Ontario on Monday.

The prime minister was returning to a bus after visiting a brewery when protesters targeted him on a campaign stop ahead of the general election. He was not injured during the incident.

Mr Trudeau called a snap election in mid-August, in the hope of gaining a majority government for his left-of-centre Liberal party.

But his campaign has been disrupted by demonstrations against Covid-19 vaccine mandates and other restrictions.

Speaking to journalists on his campaign plane after the incident in London, Ontario, Mr Trudeau said he may have been hit on the shoulder.

Australian Official: Unvaccinated to be Lock Out of Economy [Video]

Premier Dan Andrews made the announcement during a press conference where he told citizens, who remain under a lockdown and a 9 pm-5 am curfew, that the unvaccinated will be kept under such restrictions indefinitely.

“There is going to be a vaccinated economy, and you get to participate in that if you are vaccinated,” Andrews said. “We’re going to move to a situation where, to protect the health system, we are going to lock out people who are not vaccinated and can be.”

“If you’re making the choice not to get vaccinated, then you’re making the wrong choice,” he added.

Andrews then portrayed the unvaccinated as some kind of horde of unruly lepers, commenting, “It’s not going to be safe for people who are not vaccinated to be roaming around the place spreading the virus.”

The whole system will of course be enforced via a vaccine passport that will serve to reclassify the unvaccinated as second class citizens living in a segregated society.

Facebook Classified Africans as “Primates” [Tweet]

Facebook has turned off its automated recommendation function after its users who have seen a clip about Africans has been advised to watch other “videos about primates”.

The recommendation was shown during a video from the British newspaper Daily Mail with the headline: “White man calls cops on black men at marina”.  Several Facebook users, after watching the video were sent an automated message asking if they would like to “keep seeing videos about Primates.”

Facebook has apologized after a video featuring Black men was classified as a video featuring “primates” by the social network’s artificial intelligence software. A Facebook spokesperson called it a “clearly unacceptable error” and said the recommendation software involve was taken offline, writes Al-Jazeera.

After being made aware of the issue, the company disabled the A.I. feature responsible for the message and is investigating it for errors.

This is the latest in a long line of scandals in which automatic AI functions on various websites have proven to be “racist”. Often it is precisely about image recognition systems that identify Africans as monkeys.

Thousands March Against Vaccine Passports in Amsterdam [Video]

Thousands of people took to the streets of Amsterdam on Sunday to protest COVID-19 restrictions in the Netherlands. The demonstration blocked roads in the city centre for miles.

Crowds of protesters gathered in Amsterdam’s Dam Square on Sunday for a 7 km march through the city’s canal-lined streets and back to the square, all in protest of the centre-right government’s coronavirus policies. 

Video footage showed a seemingly endless column of protesters marching along the route, with some observers claiming that the actual group of demonstrators was up to 3 km long.

Protesters claimed that upwards of 60,000 people were there, while local authorities put the attendance at 20,000. Either way, the city council urged Amsterdammers to stop showing up shortly before the start of the march at midday, saying the city centre had become “too busy.”

The focus of the march was on the Dutch government’s plans to make proof of vaccination mandatory to enter restaurants, cafes, museums and other public spaces, as suggested by Health Minister Hugo de Jonge earlier this week. As such, protesters carried banners decrying “medical apartheid” and complained that vaccine passes “punish” the young and healthy who refuse to be vaccinated, local newspaper Het Parool reported.

Some of the protesters demonstrated against vaccines in general, calling them “poison,” while others came to stump for politicians opposing the so-called ‘vaccine passports’. Thierry Baudet, leader of the right-wing Forum for Democracy (FvD) party marched with the protesters, as did Wybren van Haga of the newly formed libertarian party Belang van Nederland (Dutch Interest). Bauded claimed after the march that 100,000 people had come out “to stand up against the medical dictatorship.”

More than just right-wing groups were present, with dance music fans, Hare Krishnas, religious organizations, pensioners, anarchists, bikers, former police officers and soldiers all among the crowds, according to local media reports.
