The Leaders of Poland & Hungary Announced Common Priorities – “We Believe We Can Build a Common Path”

Hungarian Prime Minister at the press conference with Matteo Salvini and Polish Prime Minister stressed that they support Atlanticism, Christianity, sovereignty and reject anti-semitism. Mateusz Morawiecki added that NATO and the EU should respect national sovereignty and freedom.

Yesterday, on April 1, Prime Minister of Poland Mateusz Morawiecki and Italian politician Matteo Salvini had been visiting Hungary, where they met with the country’s Prime Minister, Viktor Orban.

“We want a European renaissance, millions of Europeans don’t have proper representation because the EPP committed itself to the cooperation with the European left, we want to represent Christian Democrats. We won’t fall for provocation. We reject the ridiculous “geometry” that the right only has extremes while the left only has a centre,” said Victor Orban.

Orban also said that “Salvini is our hero because he proved that migration could be stopped on the sea, and we showed that we could stop migration on our borders”.

Hungarian Prime Minister announced that their next meeting with Morawiecki and Salvini would be in May, most probably in Warsaw.
