NYC Protesters Oppose Mandatory Vaccines for Educators [Video]

Many protesters gathered near the city’s Department of Education headquarters in New York City to demand an end to Covid vaccine mandates for teachers and other school staff.

According to local accounts, the protest gathering began outside the Department of Education (DOE) facility in Brooklyn and proceeded across the Brooklyn Bridge to Manhattan.

The strike occurred on the same day that the nation’s largest school district implemented a vaccine mandate for teachers, with non-compliant employees risking unpaid leave or the option of departing with a severance package.

Videos of the demonstration circulated on social media – much of it captured by videographers Brendan Gutenschwager and Leeroy Johnson – with protesters heard chanting “The system is corrupt!” in one clip.

From Union Square, the protest march took a somewhat odd detour, hitting a nearby Australian diplomatic office to denounce that country’s ongoing Covid-19 lockdowns – which have been among the world’s harshest and longest-lasting shutdown orders amid the pandemic. 

With some marchers seen hoisting Australian national flags, chants of “Save Australia!” could be heard from the rally as it neared Canberra’s consulate on 42nd Street. Others were heard shouting “We will not comply!”

Australian cops Assaulting Grocery Shoppers As Protesters Yelling “Freedom” in Response [Video]

Footage shot this weekend in Melbourne, Australia, shows riot police harassing and abusing supermarket shoppers attempting to buy food and coffee before heading home, while another video shows passionate demonstrators fighting back, chasing the police away and yelling “Freedom”.

The city is still under lockdown after 245 days, making it the longest lockdown anywhere in the world, and vaccine mandates have been announced for all state workers. Protesters took to the streets and police struggled to contain all of them.

Workers in the state of Victoria, including retail workers, personal trainers, MPs, journalists, faith leaders, judges, police, lawyers, cleaners, farmers, spa workers, actors and professional sports people have been ordered to get vaccinated within the next fortnight or risk losing their jobs.

Russian Letters on a Can of Sour Cream Infuriated a Retiree in Latvia [Photo]

A pensioner from Latvia got outraged by the inscription in Russian on a jar of local sour cream of the Lazdona dairy plant. 

“Is there already a second STATE LANGUAGE in Latvia???” Skaidrite Krallisha asked in her Twitter post.

The woman’s subscribers supported her in her indignation and offered to boycott such products after the woman added the online store of the sour cream pictured it only from the side where there was an inscription in Latvian.

Less than two million people who live in Latvia, about 40 per cent consider Russian their native language, even though officially it has the status of a foreign language, according to Regnum. In spite of this fact, in September 2017, the right-wing radical national association put forward the idea to switch kindergartens and schools exclusively into Latvian, that is, to prohibit Russian schools and education in Russian.

Swiss Guards Resign in Order to Avoid Vatican Vaccine Mandate [Tweet]

Three Swiss Guards have resigned ‘voluntarily’ from the ceremonial Vatican force, while several others have been suspended after the Holy See ordered the troops to get vaccinated against Covid-19 without any religious exemptions.

While other Vatican staff and visitors have an option to undergo regular Covid-19 tests to maintain their Green Pass status, all Swiss Guards had been ordered to get a jab “to protect their health and that of the others they come into contact with as part of their service,” the unit’s official Lt. Urs Breitenmoser told AP.

“Three members of the Guard have chosen not to adhere to that request, voluntarily leaving the corps,” the reports say.

Besides the three guardsmen sent back to Switzerland, at least three others were suspended from active duty after they agreed to vaccinate but have yet to receive their jabs.

Vatican Will Sanction Employees Who Refuse to Vaccinate [Tweet]

Employees who refuse to comply with COVID-19 certification will be punished by the Vatican as they will not be paid.

Vatican staffers who are unable to prove they’d been jabbed or who refuse to pay for expensive negative COVID tests will be considered “unjustly absent” and paid no salary.

The new rules will go into force from October 1st onwards. Despite many Christians asserting a religious exemption to the vaccination, the Vatican itself is offering no such workaround.

Pope Francis has been a vehement supporter of the mass vaccination program, asserting that humanity “has a history of friendship with vaccines.”

“The Vatican has said that it considers it acceptable for Catholics to use vaccines, even those that use stem cell lines from aborted fetuses in their research,” reports the Mail.

Mother Arrested in Front of Crying Children at Canadian Community Centre [Video]

Two Canadian policemen arrested a mother right in front of her children for not showing her Covid vaccine passport at a local community centre in Ripley, Ontario. Children were crying and hugging the woman’s leg of being scared and not understanding the situation but this didn’t stop police officers from detaining her.

An officer informs the woman and the man filming that the manager of the facility wants them to leave, and tells them they’re trespassing. The man filming convinces policemen they’re not trespassing but taking part in recreational activities at a public tax-payer funded facility.

However, the police handcuffed the woman and took her to a police vehicle. As was later reported, the mother was taken offsite, issued her a fine of $65, and returned to the community centre announcing that now she is banned from attending the arena.

US Senator Accused Instagram of Promoting Harmful Content to Children [Tweet]

US Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-Connecticut) has criticised Facebook for hiding its knowledge of the harmfulness of its products by choosing ‘growth over children’s mental health.’ After the Wall Street Journal reported that Facebook’s internal research had found Instagram to be ‘toxic for young girls’, Blumenthal’s office was additionally approached by a whistleblower with internal documents showing some of the company’s findings on the harmfulness of its social media platforms.

“Facebook has taken Big Tobacco’s playbook. It has hidden its own research on addiction and the toxic effects of its products. It has attempted to deceive the public and us in Congress about what it knows, and it has weaponized childhood vulnerabilities against children themselves,” Blumenthal said at a Senate hearing on Thursday.

Even though the company itself publicly denied that Instagram is harmful to teens, the senator stressed that Facebook researchers and experts were aware of the real situation and now broad public can also know that ‘Facebook routinely puts profits ahead of kids’ online safety’.

The research papers provided to the senator’s office revealed that more than one-third of teens had little or no control over how Instagram made them feel. Moreover, Facebook researchers also found out that teens ‘have an addict’s narrative about their use’ of the company’s products. Terrible numbers presented the cruel reality – teen users with suicidal thoughts, 13% in the UK and 6% in the US said they could trace those feelings to Instagram.

To study the issue deeper, Blumenthal’s office created a fake Instagram account for a user identified as a 13-year-old girl. According to the senator, within one day of the account following a few other users associated with extreme dieting, she was offered a huge amount of recommendations of accounts promoting eating disorders.

This made Blumenthal and Senator Marsha Blackburn (R-Tennessee) sent a letter to Facebook chief executive Mark Zuckerberg, asking whether the company’s research had ever found that its products can harm children’s mental health. Zuckerberg’s replied they are ‘not aware of a consensus among studies or experts about how much screen time is too much’.

Now, along with Senator Ed Markey (D-Massachusetts), Blumenthal is going to reintroduce a 2020 bill designed to create new protections for Internet users under 16. To prove the need of the bill, Markey mentioned Facebook research showing that 32% of teen girls said that when they felt bad about their bodies, Instagram made them feel worse.

The information about Facebook negative impact on people was previously confirmed by the company’s former president Sean Parker, back in November 2017, when he admitted that the company’s flagship platform and Instagram were designed to exploit ‘a vulnerability in human psychology’. Parker confessed company’s creators realised the addictive nature of their products but ‘did it anyway’ to boost the productivity of the platform.

In addition, citing internal documents, the WSJ found that multiple teams were working on plans to create more products and conduct research around pre-teens as potential users. One of the teams was set up with a three-year goal to develop specific products for the demographic. A presentation included the explored ways to engage children during playdates and noted wariness among parents towards the idea.

YouTube Started to Block All Anti-Vaccine Content [Tweet]

YouTube announced the introduction of banning all anti-vaccine content describing it as ‘false information about the COVID vaccines’. Such content can include claims that the vaccine causes infertility and that the MMR shot, which protects against measles, mumps, and rubella, can cause autism. The platform is also banning channels associated with several prominent anti-vaccine activists including Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Joseph Mercola.

Earlier, the issue also touched the Russian information network RT’s German-language channels. Those were deleted from the YouTube platform, as the company said they violated the guidelines in terms of its COVID-19 misinformation policy.

As stated, the decision was made after YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter have been criticized for not doing enough to stop the spread of ‘false health information’ on their sites. However, Internet users turned out to be not ready for such a ‘betrayal’ from the sites they have in their daily use, which now caused them only disappointments.

Big Tornado Emerged in German Town Causing Many People Injured [Video]

A huge tornado has disturbed the German city of Kiel located on the Baltic coast of the country, leaving devastation around including at least seven injured people at the beginning, according to local media.

The unusual for the territory wind formation caused not only human injuries but also damages to property, ripping roofs off houses and lifting boats out of the water. Police and fire department personnel have reportedly been deployed on a large scale to settle the situation.

US Soldiers Obliged to Clean Up Trash They Left Before Leaving Afghanistan [Tweet]

The hasty evacuation of US troops from Afghanistan caused disorder and chaos at Kabul airport. Leaving the place US Marines gave the Taliban and Daesh a one-finger salute and left obscene remarks on the walls. However, soldiers were ordered by their commanders to remove the graffiti before leaving the city and pick up all the trash scattered around.

Several examples of the insults were uploaded on social media. One of them shows a serviceman in front of a Hamid Karzai Airport with the phrase written on the wall “F*сk ISIS + Taliban” right by the image of male genitalia.

Another image depicts 12 men with firearms in front of an outdoor concrete barricade and the words “F*k ISIS, AFG 2021” spray-painted.

New York Governor Says, Vaccine Came to People From God [Video]

Just a day before a vaccination mandate for healthcare workers is set to take effect in New York State, Governor Kathy Hochul attended a service at the Christian Cultural Centre in Brooklyn, telling the parishioners God wants them to be vaccinated.

“Yes, I know you’re vaccinated […] but you know, there are people out there who aren’t listening to god and what god wants […] I need you to be my apostles, I need you to go out and talk about it and say, we owe this to each other. We love each other. Jesus taught us to love one another. And how do you show that love, but to care about each other enough to say, please get vaccinated because I love you,” Hochul insisted.

Interestingly, the governor shows her ‘Vaccinated’ necklace with a big proudness announcing that she wears it every day. Sounds credible but how about the cross? So, has the ‘vaccination’ new kind of religion already replaced traditional Christianity? Hochul seems to confuse people, mixing all together in the attempt to get more vaccinated ones.

This speech was given even after one religious exemption has already been made. A federal judge on Oct. 12 was promised to consider a legal challenge arguing that such exemptions are constitutionally required. So, currently, for this reason, a nurse practitioner at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, Brittany Jane France, was granted a temporary religious exemption so is continuing to work for now. However, this is left behind the Hochul’s ‘awareness’, as she claims any rule of religious exemption is not familiar to her.

American TV host, Tucker Carlson, couldn’t leave the issue without comments and gave strong words opposing the Hochul’s stance.

La Palma Declared ‘Disaster Zone’ as Volcanic Activity Doesn’t Decrease [Video]

The Spanish government has declared the Canary Island of La Palma a disaster zone and pledged millions in support after continuous and intense volcanic activity on the island, which sits off the North African coast. Spokesperson Isabel Rodriguez reported that the government had already allocated a preliminary package of €10.5 million (€5 million to buy houses and the rest, to purchase furniture and essential household goods after thousands of people had to be relocated).

It is specified that lava keeps flowing from the Cumbre Vieja volcano on which fissures first opened on September 19 after decades of inactivity, destroying almost 600 houses as well as churches and banana plantations on the Canary Island. There are also concerns that the lava could create clouds of toxic hydrochloric acid vapour if it reaches the sea and reports on Tuesday assumed it’s just 800 meters from the sea already.

Even though many people have been relocated, also many remain in coastal villages in anticipation of the molten flow reaching the Atlantic Ocean. Three villages were locked down on Monday in expectation, with residents told to keep windows closed and stay indoors. To date, no fatalities or serious injuries have been reported.

“We are still waiting on whatever the volcano wants to do,” Miguel Angel Morcuende, director of the Pevolca response committee said.
